The Kansas City Zoo is located in Swope Park at 6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City, Missouri. Just off I-435 and US-71 highway, the Zoo is easily accessible from any part of the metropolitan area.
Join the Kansas City Zoo family and Adopt a Wild Child. Animal adoptions are a unique, fun way to help us feed and care for our more than 1,000 animals. For just a few dollars a day, you can help add to our naturalistic habitats, purchase toys for animal enrichment and provide hundreds of pounds of food each day.
Show your favorite animal that you care. As an adopting individual, family, group or corporation, you will receive the inside scoop on your animal throughout the year, other fun wild perks and an annual adoption picnic. Visit the Kansas City Zoo often—you’ll see your adoption at work!
If you have any questions or comments, or wish to adopt using a check, please call 816-513-5804 or e-mail Erika Van'Tuyl.
